Timeless…

Love has been a timeless fascination. How will you meet that special someone? When? Where? There’s no rhyme, no reason, no cookie-cutter love story. And yet, generation after generation, couple after couple, somehow, someway, the right two people’s lives suddenly collide, and there’s a connection of two souls that find their forever in each other.

For Anna and Dylan, that moment happened at a birthday party a friend threw for Anna. When Dylan arrived at the party, it didn’t take Anna long to notice the handsome newcomer.

They exchanged numbers at the party, and went on their first date about a month later.

Anna was so sure that she wanted to continue to get to know Dylan that she asked him to be her boyfriend.

Fast forward a bit of time and they were sitting in the Costco parking lot eating a hot dog with plans to go to the zoo later in the evening, when Anna asked if Dylan was planning to ask her to marry him that night because she had always thought it would be cool to get engaged at a zoo.

Whatever Dylan said, must have been convincing, because when he got down on one knee in front of the tiger exhibit and a beautifully lit Christmas tree at the Toledo Zoo that evening, Anna was genuinely shocked.

So shocked, in fact, that she accidentally pulled the glove off her right hand when he went to put the ring on her finger instead of her left.

With their magical engagement complete, and a beautiful ring on Anna’s finger, wedding planning began.

“We prayed about which venue to choose, and felt like The Venue at Shadow Rock was the right for us,” Anna said. “Ashley was very warm and welcoming on our tour and the venue provided us with such a gorgeous backdrop that I knew decorating would be a smooth process.”

With the day drawing near, the part about marriage the couple was reportedly most looking forward to was always getting to be with their best friend. The part of their wedding they were most looking forward to was their bubble entrance, which they decided to do in place of a bubble exit so everyone would be there to participate. (We love that idea!!)

And after an absolutely beautiful, timeless wedding filled with deep, rich tones of green and gold paired with the stark blacks and bright whites of the venue, Anna & Dylan got to start their lifetime together.

You never know when or where love will find you, but we’re so glad Anna and Dylan found each other. And we’re so honored to have gotten to be a small party of their beautiful love story.
