“I used to wish we had a cute, romantic story about how we met, but truth is… It was October 2018, when I swiped right on his profile and got an instant “match”. Yes, I’m talking about Tinder,” Brooke said when telling the story of how she met Jarren.

Though they were “matched” in October, Jarren lived in Joplin and Brooke lived in Springfield, and they didn’t actually meet in person until the following March.

Once they met, the rest, as they say, is history.

“I fell in love with his witty humor, always making me laugh or see life with the glass half full. We also shared a passion for sports,” Brooke shared.

Knowing Brooke was the woman he wanted to marry, Jarren surprised her when she returned from a work trip by asking her to spend the rest of her life with him.

She said yes.

Ready to plan a wedding, they started looking for venues and came across The Venue at Shadow Rock.

“We love the modern look with the neutral colors and all the natural light,” said Brooke.

With the wedding quickly approaching, Brooke said the first look, their first dance, and leaving for their honeymoon were what she was most looking forward to on wedding day.

When the day finally arrived, it was a bright and beautiful September day.

“Not much will change for us since we already have two kids and have lived together for several years,” said Brooke. “All that is really changing is my last name.”

But that change was one that meant everything.

Their family and friends gathered to help them celebrate and from the ceremony to reception, it was an absolutely beautiful day full of laughter and celebration.

And when the rings had been exchanged, the speeches made, the cake cut, and the day was over and they left the venue, they left as husband and wife, not only sharing a life, love, and family, but also their last name.

They were no longer just Brooke & Jarren. They’re now Mr. & Mrs. Reinhart.
